Microsoft Access - Linking a Database to a New ODBC Connection

Here are the instructions for linking a MS Access database / query to a new ODBC connection:

Open up your Access database and select the "Database Tools" tab

Select the "Linked Table Manager"

Select (tick) the tables you want to link to the new connection

When ready press OK

Select the new data source you want to link to and press OK

Now Enter in your credentials and press OK

Note: the tables you select must exist at the new destination. The system works through the list of table that you tick and if it finds one that cannot be located via the new connection then it will just stop.

You will then have to untick that missing table and press OK to proceed with the rest of them
