POP and SMTP Settings for Exchange 2010

What POP settings to use (Exchange 2010)

  • Synopsis

    What the POP settings are for Exchange 2010 so you can properly connect to your servers.
  • Applicable to

    All SherWeb 2010 hosted Exchange accounts.
  • Prerequisite

    • You must have a SherWeb 2010 hosted Exchange account

     

  • How to

    Settings:

    POP3 Server: You can find your POP server in your Control Panel in the User Information section (ex: webmail.example.com).

     

     

    Username: your email address

     

    Password: your password

     

    Port: 995 (using SSL)

     

    SMTP Server: You can find your SMTP server in your Control Panel in the User Information section (ex: SMTP.example.com).

     

     

    Username: your email address

     

    Password: your password

     

    Port: 587 (using TLS for Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 )

     

    Require Authentication: please enter Yes and Use same settings as your incoming mail server.
